How is the Wesley Foundation funded?
Since the 1960’s, Denton Wesley Foundation has been a ministry of the United Methodist Church serving college students in Denton. Founded by a statewide initiative of young adults working across the connection to establish ministries on as many campuses as possible, the Wesley has been supported by apportionment dollars from the UMC conference given by local churches. The way we do campus ministry is changing, and so is the way we fund this work. Help us grow sustainably by becoming a donor today!
Provide for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of college students today
Your generosity to the Denton Wesley supplies free hot meals and weekly groceries to students facing food insecurity. You provide a safe place for students to connect with God and each other. You give free mental health services and pastoral care to young adults discerning their next steps through big life transitions. You fund internships and leadership opportunities for the next generation of Christian leaders for the Church and the world. Your gift embodies Christ’s radical love on campus to more people each year—we can’t do it without you!
